Bandit

A lone bandit should be an easy creature to defeat for a solo DND player.

Bandit stats:

  • Pirates are bandits of the high seas.

A lone Bandit:

Since I am focusing mostly on solo DND play with a lone player character (PC), I have decided to come up with scenarios where a lone bandit will end up in a confrontation with a PC.

  • Bandit attempts to ambush a PC. Tries to use surprise to improve his chances of victory.
    • Robbery.
    • Trying to prevent PC from discovering something.
      • Bandit camp.
      • Treasure.
      • Afraid that they will be a robbery victim.
        • Just wants PC to go away.

Multiple bandits:

A lone (Player Character) PC can have an easier time fighting multiple bandits under certain circumstances.

  • Bandits attacking NPCs. They are less focused on the PC.
    • Villagers
    • Caravan
    • Guards

I have decided to play by the 5th edition (5e) rules, which you can purchase at this affiliate link 2014 D&D Core Rulebooks (Dungeons & Dragons Gift Set) . As an Amazon associate, I may earn from qualifying purchases. I purchased that set and read it at work. I mostly use online resources at home.
